As part of Blogging 101 about be inspired by neighbors, I spent time commenting and reading articles from fellow bloggers. It was fun knowing that I have same interest to share my blog with. I’ve learned more about amazing places for travel adventures with different countries. I was inspired by my fellow blogger Sunshine Travels to write this blog as an appreciation of nature. We have same interest for nature, travel and culture. I have also read her guest blog “Living in the Lakes” and described it as a new view surrounded by mountains and valleys.
The Pililla Wind Farm
Just last weekend, I spent time with my family away from the hustle and bustle life of the city of Manila. We enjoyed strolling around the town of Pililla, Rizal, Philippines via private vehicle.
I wonder what to expect in the province of Nueva Ecija. I haven’t heard much from this province until one of my friends told me that there was a hidden paradise located in the municipality of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija in Central Luzon Region. So I searched for it and decided to schedule the trip as my next summer destination. The so called “Minalungao National Park” a protected area with 2,018 hectares centered along the scenic Peñaranda River, bordered on both sides by up to 16-meter high limestone walls in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The park is promoted by the local government as an ecotourism destination offering breath-taking scenery of green pristine river and unique rock formations.

After a long winding road trip to Pagudpud, we continue our journey to the next destination which is LAOAG, a third-class city and capital of the province of Ilocos Norte. It is the province’s political, commercial, and industrial hub and the location of the Ilocos region’s only commercial airport.

The two provinces famous for tourist attractions are Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, particularly composed of the famous towns of Pagudpud, Laoag and Vigan.
As backpackers, we were all set for a long winding roadtrip to Ilocos for four days. We started our long journey from Manila to PAGUDPUD which is a fourth class municipality in Ilocos Norte, a popular tourist destination because of its nostalgic resorts and pristine beaches.
Summer is everyone’s favorite season of the year. It is almost summer and the heat is on. A perfect time for outdoor activities. Most people spend their summer vacation in traveling, camping, trekking, road tripping, spelunking and of course swimming at the beach. As for me, my travel adventure for 2015 starts now.

Since March was my special day, I was so excited to spend my summer birthday blast somewhere I’ve been in touch with beach and nature. After a long searched, We finally decided to spend our ultimate summer adventure in Bolinao. It is the 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan. It is known for enchanted caves and pristine beaches, the most popular of which is Patar White beach situated on the western coastline of West Philippine Sea. Discover the hidden treasures of the town of Bolinao. An awesome journey to paradise.

Last March 2015, we had a summer escapade at Bolinao, Pangasinan. We’ve been here not just for the amazing attractions and pristine beaches but also because of the mouth-watering foods they offered to tourists. It was an awesome and memorable trip since it was my summer birthday blast for this year. Below are some of the foods and restaurants we’ve tried:
1. Bicol Express Restaurant
A beach front restaurant owned and managed by Benjie’s Kubo & Cottages. It was located at Patar white beach, Bolinao. A casual dining restaurant with cozy and breath-taking view of the Patar White Beach. For reservation please contact no. +63910 836 6257.

After the first half day tour, we ate our sumptuous lunch here at Bicol Express Restaurant which serves a variety of authentic Filipino cuisine. We ordered crispy pata for P360 good for 2-3 persons and ginataang gulay with mini crabs for P120 good for 2-3 persons. The foods were delicious especially the vegetable cuisine.

I truly love outdoor activities that’s why after a long hectic months, I was looking for an escape of the usual hustle and bustle life. I found myself at San Antonio, Zambales. It was my best beach bum experience so far. What I love most in Zambales Cove was the fact that there is no electricity, no cellphone and internet signal and everything is back to basics. Cook on a camp fire if you don’t have a gas stove, eat with bare hands if you don’t have any utensils and entertain yourselves with funny stories if you’re bored. Exploring the Island of Zambales was an enjoyable and adventurous getaway. Island hopping and mountain trekking were the coolest outdoor activities I ever had. It’s more fun in the Philippines.
A weekend getaway with family is one of my priorities at my bucket list. It was my sister’s birthday bash and we headed to Tanay, Rizal for a simple birthday treat. Via private vehicle, we enjoyed strolling around the town. We were mesmerized by the greener nature surrounded by tall trees and mountains. We stop by at Kata Cafe Restaurant along the highway to eat lunch. It is located at Delfin Tongohan St., cor. Manila East Road, Tanay, Rizal, an open restaurant with cozy ambiance perfect for hangout and relaxation. Nice place to celebrate special occasions and events. The restaurant’s staff was very hospitable and friendly. They served delicious and mouth-watering foods for a low price.Their best sellers are sizzling and grilled dishes that can be ordered in a big servings.
